I was planning to stay here only one night, but ended up staying longer, partly because Dingle is such a wonderful place to explore and partly because Moriarty's Farmhouse is such a nice place to stay.
I only booked the morning before I would arrive, and Moriarty's Farmhouse was the fifth place I called on the Dingle peninsula. I'm glad now that the other places didn't have any space!
I arrived very late, after underestimating the time it would take to drive to Dingle. The last bit of road on the peninsula is even more twisty than most other roads in Ireland, so it takes a while. The B&B itself is easy to find, a little way from Dingle town itself, but well signposted. Even though I was so late, Ted Moriarty was very friendly and was happy to serve me a cup of tea and buttered scones in a lounge (with some great books on the shelves) downstairs, which were very much appreciated. I see many other reviewers have said this, but Ted really is very knowledgeable about Dingle and Ireland and Irish culture in general and he's a great conversationalist.
The room was comfortable and clean, with a great view over the garden, the hamlet of Ventry and the sea. The house seems a little old, but all the furnishings are up to standard. The creaking steps just add to the charm of the place.
Breakfast (a few options, of which I asked Brid to serve me scrambled eggs with smoked samon) was very good, in another room with a nice view.
I'm not sure whether internet or a communal computer is available, as I didn't need to use it.
All in all, a great stay and I can easily recommend it. Ted and Brid are friendly and you can ask them for any assistance without feeling like you are an inconvenience to them, not like some other B&Bs. I wish I could have stayed longer!
