“DISGUSTING, SMELLY, DAMP ROOMS! HEALTH HAZARD! Please read my entire review. You will be glad you did!”

We stayed for free through Rewards...and paid way too much! The hotel is beat, nasty, and run down. The room we got was room 124. When we entered the room all you could smell was damp, moldy air. It was almost overpowering. I asked to see two other rooms and looked at 208 and 210. 208 smelled worse, and 210 smelled like mold AND gas (like there was some sort of gas leak). I had no choice but to take the first room, since it was late and we were all tired. The wallpaper was peeling, the roof was sagging, the tub backed up, the toilets were not clean, the sheets were dirty and had cigarette burn holes, they would only give us two extra towels, it was nasty. I have stayed in better conditions when i traveled to Africa! The owners were Indian and conveniently could not understand me when i complained or needed more towels, but could understand me perfectly at check in. They acted shocked when i finally made it clear of how bad of condition the rooms were (like they have never heard someone complain before), and they gave me a can of air freshener (no lie) to be the solution. Like I said, we used Wyndam Rewards, so technically i didn't have to pay and could reason it out that way. But, please do not ever stay in this hotel unless you abosolutly just need a place to stay that is barely one notch up from sleeping in your car or on a picnic table somewhere. The owners know most people will not be return customers and they could care less. They also know that ads, pics, and descriptions are deceptive enough to draw in plenty of first-time travelers, and that is all they care about. Shame on them. It is my deepest desire through
this review to prevent as many first-timers as I can from getting stuck like we did, in this filthy, dirty, unkept, smelly, unhealthy, old, delipidated, rip-off, frightening excuse for a hotel. If I could close them down, I would. Don't stay
here. Don't do it.

“A Great Value; Clean, Quiet, Comfortable.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2011

My wife had an appointment at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. We live in East Tennessee and were trying to get home but got hit with a bad snowstorm. Interstate 40 was in bad shape so we decided to hole up for the night. Not being rich folk, we were looking for something under $50 that was clean, quiet and comfortable because we were dead tired. We found it at the Days Inn in Lebanon Tn. No the wallpaper, paint, and floor leveling weren't perfect. Then again; it didn't break the budget either. Coffee was provided as well as a hair dryer and all the standard amenities including free breakfast. For $40 a night, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Much better than some others in that price range!!!!

“Ho Hum, not a great place.”

Friendly desk person but could not understand her directions to a good restaurant. By gestures, she got the idea across to my brain. The room was shabby. Dust on upper part of the curtains, Michelobe cap stuck to bottom of curtain, floor was uneven (is the plywood breaking down?? - and this is on the first floor!). Wall electric switches / receptacles are almost worn out. Mirror over / behind the television is worn out - clean, but worn mirror finish. The bed is needing to be replaced, worn / saggy mattress and itsy bitsy lumpy pillows. I had to unplug the dorm-fridge as it was ticking away noisily in the corner.

“What a Pit!”

Smelly, the carpet was dirty, the bathroom tiles were loose enough to come up, the toliet leaked and soaked the floor. If it had not been so late and we had not been on the road for 14 hours, we'd have demanded our money back! Thinking of staying here? Keep going!

“Ok Stay if you don't mind an older motel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 July 2009

I'd never been to a Days Inn before, so I didn't know what to expect. Actually, I was expecting it to be one step up from a Motel 6, based on the listed ammenities. The hotel was located in what looked to be a decent area with other motel/hotels and restaurants close by. Though the bathroom area had been recently renovated with granite countertops and new fixtures, the room looked older with cracked walls and missing floor molding in a few places...nothing to loose sleep over. While the carpet was a bit dirty (white socks weren't white anymore), it was nothing compared to two downers in my book: a tub that backed up big time and the air being extremely musty (the air conditioner worked, but did not help with the air quality). If these two problems were fixed, I'd consider giving this motel a better review.

Even with the tub and poor air, the breakfast was alright and the price was fine. I would not recommend this property to those who prefer a good quality room. I may stay here again if in a pinch for money or couldn't find a better deal.
