We stayed for free through Rewards...and paid way too much! The hotel is beat, nasty, and run down. The room we got was room 124. When we entered the room all you could smell was damp, moldy air. It was almost overpowering. I asked to see two other rooms and looked at 208 and 210. 208 smelled worse, and 210 smelled like mold AND gas (like there was some sort of gas leak). I had no choice but to take the first room, since it was late and we were all tired. The wallpaper was peeling, the roof was sagging, the tub backed up, the toilets were not clean, the sheets were dirty and had cigarette burn holes, they would only give us two extra towels, it was nasty. I have stayed in better conditions when i traveled to Africa! The owners were Indian and conveniently could not understand me when i complained or needed more towels, but could understand me perfectly at check in. They acted shocked when i finally made it clear of how bad of condition the rooms were (like they have never heard someone complain before), and they gave me a can of air freshener (no lie) to be the solution. Like I said, we used Wyndam Rewards, so technically i didn't have to pay and could reason it out that way. But, please do not ever stay in this hotel unless you abosolutly just need a place to stay that is barely one notch up from sleeping in your car or on a picnic table somewhere. The owners know most people will not be return customers and they could care less. They also know that ads, pics, and descriptions are deceptive enough to draw in plenty of first-time travelers, and that is all they care about. Shame on them. It is my deepest desire through
this review to prevent as many first-timers as I can from getting stuck like we did, in this filthy, dirty, unkept, smelly, unhealthy, old, delipidated, rip-off, frightening excuse for a hotel. If I could close them down, I would. Don't stay
here. Don't do it.
