The staff whether Front Desk or Breakfast or Room Cleaning were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet, clean and had an indoor swimming pool which we enjoyed. The breakfast was well stocked with waffles, sausages, boiled eggs, yogurt. The only downfall was the fact that they have 'smoking rooms' in the same hallway as the 'non smoking' rooms which meant you could smell and see cigarette smoke in the hallway occasionally. Thankfully the smell did not enter our room. As it was, we enjoyed our stay very much!

From previous reviews, my wife and I thought the hotel would be fine for a three night stay. On the Sunday morning of our stay, we were startled by banging noises outside of our room and then began chocking on chemical fumes. The fumes caused our eyes to tear and burn, and the chocking sent us gasping for fresh air. We discovered that a crew of non English speaking workers were ripping up the existing carpet and gluing new carpet down. All this on a Sunday morning! We left the hotel immediately. Be warned.

My husband and I stayed at the Sleep Inn & Suites just off of I-40 in Lebanon, TN last weekend. It is obvious the staff love their job and the hotel they work at. This IS the cleanest hotel you will ever find with a wonderful staff to match.

Even though the hotel sits off of I-40, the rooms are quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was great and I will go back every time I'm in the area.

I checked in very late which the night front desk person was extremly helpful/ I think his name was Andrew. I asked for a late check out since I am a choice member. I put the do not disturb sign on the door and at just before 9am there was a knock on the door, housekeeping. i was still sleeping and by the time i got up to look out the peep hole she was walking away. I went back to bed and again about 930 she knocked again. I told her through the door I have a noon check out. Well, you would think that would stop... not... she knocked again at 1040am. At this point I was furious and I ignored the knock. I then after about 5 minutes opened the door to make sure the DND sign was still on it and YES it was. I normally will leave a $5. tip for housekeeping but not this time... my tip will be... "learn to read, or recognize the DND sign". I always try to stay at Choice Hotels but I will avoid this one. And anyone else that does not wish to get on the road early, try somewhere else. I had a long day ahead of me and didnt get much sleep.. I travel to Lebanon a lot and stay at choice hotels. I will be looking elsewhere after that experience. The internet service was even extremly slow.
