We spent two weeks in Ireland, including three nights at Blue Book Hotels. Cashel House was the only disappointing hotel of all the hotels at which we stayed during our holiday. Very costly for the experience. The food at the restaurant was mediocre, pictures were crooked and had cobwebs on them, and it felt dusty and tired. We seemed to be the only guests under 60 years of age. This place need a major renovation.
For half the price it would have been a reasonable value.
The gardens, however, are spectacular. They would be the only reason to visit this hotel.
Service was very good.
