Stayed in the single room, downstairs. Was pretty noisy, could hear other guests walking by my room and talking loudly and could hear the hosts dog barking. Very annoying. Not a good nights sleep. Bed and bathroom was clean but the floor was really dirty. Lots of black hairs and dust everywhere. My room seemed to be used as storage room as the cupboard was full of toilet paper and lots of blankets.
Breakfast was good and location is Ok, would rather stay a bit closer to the centre though. Good though if you need to park your car for free.
Would not stay there again. Did not feel like a B&B, rather like a hostel.

My niece and I stayed for 4 nights in the twin room. It was impeccably clean and well appointed with comfy beds, extra pillows and blankets, tea and coffee, hair dryer, north American electrical converter, T.V., armoire, and a bright, beautiful bathroom with a fabulous power shower and good bath products. John And Margaret McGauran were wonderful hosts; very helpful with advice and directions. Good Irish breakfast with perfect scrambled eggs and flavorful meats/sausages. Location is just North of the city center (5 minute bus ride or 30 minute walk) and a short walk to the botanic gardens. Easily accessible from the airport. The cost of our stay was very reasonable, especially considering the upscale accommodations, with a discount for cash payment and another discount for our 4 night stay. We would definitely return.

John & Margaret welcomed us like old friends. We had stayed here before and enjoyed it, so when we needed to visit Dublin again for a weekend it was easy for us to decide where to stay, and we were not disappointed. Room was clean and warm & bed was comfortable so we both slept well. We plan to come again!

The house is located on the way from the airport, only 4 bus stop from the city center so it's easy to move but at the same time is quiet. The only negative side is that you have to walk for 5 minutes from the bus stop. If someone has problems in walking should consider this. The owner is really kind and helpfull, breakfast is ok and the place is very clean. All in all I'm satisfied.
