“Basic but good Value for money”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

I stayed here with my girlfriend last week as it was the cheapest hotel we could get with parking in and around dublin, the hotel was basic and standard but the rooms where clean and tidy and the beds nice and comfy, the breakfast in the morning in the little cafe was nice a full fry, for a stop over this hotel is great for value for money.

“Well worth the price!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

My partner and I stayed here with our young daughter while on 1 night stay in Dublin. Overall I was pleased with my stay and very happy with the value for money.

We spent most of our day out sight-seeing and for the price we paid got good value for money for somewhere to spend the night.

The location is good, although its not within walking distance to the city centre the bus stop or train station is only about a 5/10 minute walk so getting in and out of the city centre is easy if you don't want to take the car, with the free parking at the hotel an added bonus.

The rooms in general could be a little cleaner, and the controls on the shower in the bathroom were broken however I could still get it to work, so overall no real complaints.

The bed was very comfortable and we all had a great nights sleep.

I have stayed here twice now and have been happy both times, for the price you pay you certainly get value for money, if it's somewhere to spend the night then I wouldn't look past here and I would go back again myself

“A few days in Dublin”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

We had two nights on the 10 & 11 of January in the Phoenix Park Travelodge. Having been there many times and yet to be dissapointed, great big rooms plenty of heat just the thing in January.
Taking advantage of the advance purchase tho nights for 38 euro and with our N Ireland bus pass free transport from Derry to Dublin then free on the local busses, trams, and dart railway it is cheaper than staying at home.

Room Tip: Bus 38,38A,38B from O Connell Street get off stop after the bus goes up over to the train station

“Second visit and again very happy with our stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

This is mine and my friends second visit to the hotel, where again we are very happy with our stay from start to finish. The hotel iis both clean and comfortable and the staff are all warm and friendly. Having read some reviews on here I wonder if these negative people actually stayed at the hotel or If they are just generally negative people who are never happy with anything. If you are looking to have a nice time in a reasonably priced hotel stay here, I'm sure you will enjoy your stay! The hotels restaurant also does some wonderful food and very reasonably priced.. Well done Travelodge you have exceeded our expectations a second time..

my friend booked it and it was wealth paying less for the room and i will recommend this place. receptionist Jack was friendly and managed to help me with my heavy bag.
