This hotel was a last minute decision as we were not expecting to have to spend the night in Knoxville. We chose it because the price was very reasonable. It looks like there are a few locals living there but I didn't feel concerned about safety. We arrived late, the clerk was very nice...young guy. The room was clean and VERY quiet. I was really very suprised about how quiet it was. Breakfast is continental...remember that and you'll be fine. If I needed a place to stay for another night in Knoxville I'll definately stay there again.

Don't stay here unless you want drugs or a prostitute....or both. There were drunks running up the halls all night and the maid offered to have sex with my husband for money. When he refused, she then offered to sell him pills. What a classy place! Ladies....keep your husbands away from the blonde maid named Lisa if you stay here!

We stayed here for just one night on our recent roadtrip. For the price I realize you cannot expect much, but when it comes to being clean price should not matter. Sheets were clean (You could smell the bleach) but full of old stains, which was quite disturbing . The mattress's are about 20 years past needing a replacement and are very uncomfortable. We had rented a double room, one bed came with only 1 pillow, and the other came with a pillow with old dried blood stains on it! When I called the front desk they advised they did not have extra pillows, and as for the stain that is what the pillowcase is for.

Personally I will find another budget place to stay next time we make a pit stop in knoxville and you would be wise to do so as well!

Stayed here 5 hours last night to get some rest. Not a bad place. Desk clerk was friendly and compassionate; she knew I was exhausted. I forgot to ask for a non-smoking room, so it turns out that I was given a smoking room in the back (I think she said that's all they had at that point in the evening 12:15 am) The room was pretty smoky, but the sheets were clean, smelled fairly clean, and no bugs. Bathroom looked decent, although the door was stained with some handprints and stuff and needed cleaning. Overall pretty decent. I felt safe there as a single woman traveling; mostly working class truckers at the place that seemed to want to just get some rest also. Price wasn't bad - $52 including tax. I thinl breakfast starts at 7 am but I was on the road before that.
