upside: room in god shape, nice carpet, counters, electric outlets easy to get to, great reading lights over bed, pretty contrast paint on walls.
Downside: stale tobacco smell in room, a/c kind of noisy and louvers had to be propped open, bed wasn't the best, but o.k. Lack of amenities: no hair dryer, no coffee maker, no fridge for coupon rate.
Overall: I would stay there again, but I would ask for another room if the smell is overwhelming - as it was for my mom's room.

The rooms are updated but very small. Not up to my standard of clean. Beds & pillows were completely worn out. Heat worked excellent! In fact we had to turn on the air conditioner to cool the room down, but it did not work very well. No amenities like hair dryer, iron or coffee pot, but that is to be expected for the cheap price of this room. Front desk personnel was friendly and helpful. Could not stay more than one night here and would probably not stay again. I will pay the extra money for a good nights rest.

Stay here about once per month when in town. Facility has always been clean, the staff professional and friendly (kudos to Catherine) and it is close to or easy accessible to just about everything in Knoxville.

We always choose this Red Roof on our way home from Florida. This is our fifth stay and we have not been disappointed yet. The rooms are clean and updated with flat screen TV's. The staff is friendly (say hi to Lorraine at the front desk) and they even let our pet dog stay for free!
