“Much better places to stay”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

When I made my reservation the website said they had the sunnyside up breakfast. If you have ever stayed at a La Quinta before you know that this is a hot breakfast with eggs to order, biscuits and gravey, breakfast meats, etc. When we got to breakfast it was a continental breakfast. When I questioned the front desk they did not seem to care. When I asked for an adjustment on my bill they said no. Someone from La Quinta did call me but just said sorry without any kind of adjustment on my bill. I want be staying here anymore and may not stay at La Quintas anymore. Also, the heater did not work.

“Avoid this place”

Older motel, fixed up a bit, but dirty and poorly maintained. You would do better at a Motel 6.

Room Tip: Try a different motel

“Overall Very Good Experience”

We have stayed at this motel 4 times for up to 10 days. The reasonable price first got our attention but we returned because our rooms have been clean and updated. This is an older facility but comfortable beds, new door locks, flat-screens, free wi-fi, plenty of hot water and a super friendly staff keep us coming back. Location is great for traveling or shipping.

Ask for a room facing the parking lot and run the fan to block noise always found beside an interstate.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the parking lot, south side, and run the fan for noise blocking. Ask to meet t...

“Management responded well to dealing with obnoxious guest”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

This Inn has a unique layout, in that rooms are accessible from an outside staircase, balcony and elevator. The lobby is physically seperate from the rooms access. During our stay we had party animals in the room next door. We were woken at 1:00 am to the sound of someone knocking repeatedly (every few seconds) on the door of this room. The people inside slept through it. The knocking continued for a half hour, and we called the front desk. The front desk person came up and dealt with the situation, getting the person a new key card and into their room. The next morning we asked for, and received, a substantial discount for our inconvenience and interrupted sleep. Its unfortunate the outdoor layout has some advantages, but it lends itself to people making more noise outside your room. But I was impressed by the prompt attention to our noise concern, and the desire to compensate us for the noise inconvenience.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms which are adjacent to the outside corridor that splits the hotel in half.

“Outside corridors, nice TV”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

We stayed here on our way back north from south Florida to Ohio. Price was reasonable. This is a very old building: all the rooms open to an outside corridor. Unfortunately it was freezing outside and the cold air blew into the room all night. They also have no elevator and our room was next to the stairs, so we could hear people going up and down the stairs all night. We only stayed here because we travel with a small dog and LQ is very friendly to dogs. Surprisingly, I didn't hear or see any other dogs! Maybe everyone else was warned!!! The room didn't smell as bad as I thought it would, but it did smell musty. The TV was a very nice HD flat screen. The breakfast was ok. Actually, this was not the worst LQ I've ever stayed in, but it was close!!!

Room Tip: Don't stay here!!!
