Recently held a 3 day business meeting at this Marriott. All of us traveled from out of town, but wanted this location due to other aspects of our visit in Knoxville.
Hotel staff was very very helpful and service oriented, from the moment we walked in the door.
Food for our meetings was very good, although way to much quantity...but okay that was the hotel's choice.
Meeting rooms were fine....temperature control was an issue....typically to cold.
Internet access was our biggest issue. The wireless access in the individual rooms was fine...but in the meeting rooms it was a total disaster. The SSID they wanted us to use....was off most of the time. Trying to use the guest SSID's was hit or miss....as signals were coming and going. This was our biggest disappointment.
Individual rooms were fine....clean, modern, typical marriott setup.
One of the best features of this site....was the walking proximity to downtown Knoxville and many many great dinner opportunities.
