“Overall great experience- will definitely return!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

We rented the Cook Loft on a Saturday night host an engagement party with 65 guests. We were worried about it being too crowded, but we ended up having plenty of space. Everyone had a great time. The owner was really helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed. I can't say enough good things about the Cook Loft- I don't think you can find a better space in Knoxille for the price. We're looking forward to renting it for another occasion!

“Knox Jazz Night”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 December 2011

Awesome night and perfect location for friends and a perfect location. The Cook loft is a perfect place to unwind. Tommy the owner was helpful and hooked us up for a great dinner at the Crown and Goose. We were two blocks from the Tennessee theatre walking distance, to market square and downtown, charming, open space, comfortable bed, clean, seating for 8 dinner, lounging, toasting the holiday and hanging out, space is perfect. This is a very romantic, warm and cozy home away from home. A perfect 5 stars you get from us, we will be back again, which is my best recomendation.

Cheers From Cookeville, TN

“Best football weekend in the SEC”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2011

If the rating was just compared to other Knoxville hotels the rating would be excellent (Sorry Tommy, you're not quite the Four Seasons yet!).

A little history is in order. Knoxville has a slug of mid-range hotels that were all built 30 years ago in preparation for the World's fair. They are more than adequate for the business traveler but really lack any charm, luxury or comfort that a higher end hotel provides especially for personal travel. We stayed at Cook lofts for a University of Tennessee football weekend. The location is central to downtown Knoxville (which is quite nice if you haven't been there ever or in the last 10-15 years) and to the University.

The loft is large--in my opinion best suited for two couples or families over a regular or extended stay. There is a large kitchen which is not really limiting at all. You can do or make anything in there. The loft has a large dining area and large seating area to host company, and in our case watch football. It is really the perfect setup for a football weekend as the space has multiple roomy couches and a large HD television. It's perfect for the crazed football culture trying to capture every moment of a college football Saturday--all in the shadows of Neyland Stadium. It's guaranteed you will be hard pressed to find anything of the sort in any other SEC town.

The location is as nice as the space itself. We did not need a car for the entire weekend which is such a convenience when you can just walk back-and-forth from Neyland stadium and all the gameday activities.

Finally, if you love college football and have never been to Neyland stadium you must put it on your list. The upgrades and renovations to the facility have made it a very nice venue. The number of national publications that have ranked UT as the #1 gameday experience are well known. Tennessee has a gameday experience that is rich in tradition and a pagentry that is unrivaled in college football. Top off your trip with a stay at the Cook Lofts. Enjoy!

“Road Warrior Impressed”

I am a traveliing salesman. Occasionally I will seek out a unique property to break the monotony of chain hotels. I had seen the reviews for COOK LOFT several times and finally decided to call. The owner, Tommy, answered and we reached a mutually agreeable rate. I was staying a weeknight and the unit was not rented.

It is an amazing property. Full kitchen. 2 nice bedrooms and plenty of room to set up pallets for kids etc. GREAT location walked down to Old City...about 1/2 mile...to enjoy a cigar at local cigar lounge Tommy recommended. Easy walk to stadium.

This place would be FANTASTIC for a weekend. Tommy told me people rent it our for events.. Parking up street or across street is convenient and safe.

“Great Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2011

Hosted my best friend's bachelorette party at the Cook Loft and she was speechless! This is the perfect venue for a girl's night out or really any type of party you could think of. The owner is very friendly and will go out of his way to make sure you have a great stay here. I highly recommend the Cook Loft.

Room Tip: This is by far the best place to stay downtown if you plan to host a party or simply need an elegant...
