I stayed here with my dog in January and it was a wonderful stay. The staff was so nice and helpful. They also was very friendly to my dog. The rooms were clean and spacious. Beds very comfortable. Location is ideal and is walking distance to many restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and hot and with a large variety. I was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend

This hotel is to the west of downtown Knoxville/University of Tennessee, near the Turkey Creek shopping area. We stayed on a recent Friday night, with an infant child. When we arrived, a pack and play crib had been set up for us, and a call to housekeeping produced a set of crib sheets.

The hotel had a standard Homewood Breakfast of eggs, sausage, etc. For dinner, we walked across the street to Mimi's Cafe.

I have been a fan of Homewood Suites since we stayed at one in Boulder, CO, where our son was looking at colleges. This one was probably the best one we have experienced. The separate sitting room with TV is always a plus. Breakfast was delicious and served with REAL dishes and silverware.
The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is that the dishwasher (containing all the dishes and coffee maker carafe and basket) had not been run. The detergent was like cement and refused to budge even when I ran the wash cycle. The front desk quickly sent up glasses, cups, and another coffee maker. The dishwasher was left for the cleaner the next day.
We would definitely stay here again. We especially liked the fact that several restaurants are within walking distance...like across the street.

We have stayed at this Hotel 2 times this fall and just can't say enough great things about the hotel, it's staff and it's location. They are very nice and want to make your stay the best possible. The breakfast is delicious with real dishes and silverware (not plastic). There is great shopping and restaurants close by. Room was nice, very clean and loved having the kitchen for those football weekends.
