Me and some friends came to this trashy place full of meth heads, btw, because we were going to the zoo. it was before december 2009 tho, it was in july. anyhoo, the first room we checked into was hotter than heck and muggy. the ac did not work and the carpet was soaked...i'm guessing b.c the ac had leaked..maybe someone leaked on it, i dont know. the 2nd room had a legitimate bloody booger smeared in several places on the wall. there was also a stain on the mattress. the bathroom floor tile had black spots all over it, there was no ventilation in the bathroom. the walls were paper thin and the ac worked a LITTLE bit better, but not much. they say they dont allow the "undesirables" to come there, but yet all that was there was a bunch of rude people who walked around and talked loud all night and was probably making a drug deal. It was in a slummy part of town...the woman who was working there in the morning when we checked out looked like she had just snorted a line of crack...very unprofessional acting and couldnt even give us directions on how to get to the zoo. um hello, u're right by the zoo how hard can that be to give directions to it? the waffle house by the hotel is VERY VERY VERY nasty and it was recommended to us by hotel staff b/c the continental breakfast was already gone. if u value ur life and the people u're with and have any integrity, DO NOT stay at this trashy motel...unless u're a hooker trying to get work...this is a legitimate review

Have always been fine with Days Inn. However this place is run down. Bugs in rooms, rust in bathrooms, very poor breakfast.

Nasty room Blood on Mattress and a needle stuck on the side of the bed! Non smoking room ha! found cig butts and smelled of smoke!!! Black Scum in tub and Bloody boogers on the walls. Sheets were gray and nasty!

Lousy hotel. This one is ready for the wrecking ball. Its probably 70's vintage and has been held together ever since with caulk, glue, and wire hangers. It was 1:00 so we were pretty much stuck but would have otherwise moved on. We supposedly got a "deal" at $49 because it was already late and he had lots of rooms, and the room does list for $59, but this should be more like a $29 room.

I was a bit put off with having to do business through a plexiglass window, and it made me a bit worried about parking along the side with little visibility. Then got to the room and it was not pleasant. No overt signs of dirt so we decided to stay, but you just know it's one of those places you keep your socks on. The carpets are that dark maroon and black color - perfect for hiding the dirt. AC doesn't really work. It's on, but you can't increase the fan speed and turning the temp knob just wiggled the entire control. Beds are very old but still marginally comfortable. There was one of those 1.5 cup coffeemakers, a mini fridge, and a mini microwave. Nice, but not enough to raise the point value of this room.

This is one of those things that I tell my kids, "it's not the worst thing in the world, but given the other alternatives in the world, why shoot for just slightly off the bottom of the barrel?
