After staying at Red Roof Inn in Knoxville and Ramada I-70 in Indianapolis on our way down to Columbia, SC, I was determined to stay in a place with a little more comfort on the way back to Madison, WI. What I did not want in a hotel was the funky odors we get in less expensive places. I also wanted a clean, comfy bed with a little more style to the room and of course, a indoor pool. We got that at this hotel, although the pool was kept at room temp (brrr..) we enjoyed our brief stay. There was absolutely no funky smells here, hooray!! After driving most of the day through the southern part of Blue Ridge Pwky, and Smoky Mountains I did not wat to marr it with a less than good overnight stay.

overall, I was very please with my stay here. comfy and clean. away from the road, so fairly quiet. a great location if you have dogs. there is a secluded strip of grass and also a large cement lot for a repair facility behind the hotel. this gave me plenty of space to throw the ball for my dog. I stayed on a Saturday night so there was no activity at the repair facility, but I wonder what the noise would be like on weekdays????
the breakfast was fine and there was a dedicated staff person there to re-stock it regularly. And there was a microwave and a good-sized fridge in the room.

Booked here for a spur of the moment trip to Knoxville for a UT/UGA game. The hotel was very nice and very clean. We had a room w/ 2 doubles on the bottom floor and everything was above average. Would stay again when in the area. Got a good rate through AAA.

We decided to stop in Knoxville on our return trip to Michigan from Florida. This hotel was easy to locate and is near many restaurants which are even within walking distance. Our room was clean, comfortable and of course the king sized bed was totally wonderful after a long day on the road. The front desk staff was friendly, pleasant and helpful. This hotel sits back away from the road and freeway so you do not experience alot of noise and business activity. We enjoyed our stay and will return again.
