If you are anyway in the Knoxville area and looking for a great rest, don't pass by the Hampton Inn & Suites in Knoxville North. From the moment you pass through the front doors, you'll be met by the welcoming smile, wit and knowledge of Tom and Ernie ... this hotel's greatest ambassadors. Despite central booking in the Phillipines messing up our reservation, Tom and Ernie were unruffled by the mix-up, located a room and upgraded our reservation to a suite, ensured we weren't being charged double through central booking, and made sure we had a confirmed reservation at our next stop in Ocala, Florida. Ernie's got pull ... make sure you ask him where to dine ... there's a free appetizer and dessert waiting for you at a wonderful local restaurant! All the Hampton Inn amenities are present ... but done in spades. You'll be glad you stopped by!

Having stayed here in the past we knew we'd find a clean and comfortable room waiting for us. If you haven't been here before you'll need to exercise a degree of patience as you seek it out since it is well off of the highway. It is a little pricier than most hotels with a cost of about $100 + tax. A great variety of eating places in the area.

Stayed here for a wedding and it was pretty much what you'd expect from a Hampton inn. Clean with nice amenities. I thought it was alittle pricy though. We stayed when there was not a UT home game but prices were still alittle more than normal I think. Great location, about 5 min from everything.
