I arrived with my 90 yo father after the death of my mother and we were traveling back home. First off, there was no remote control to our TV. There was a black fuzzy something next to my bed on the floor. Cobwebs on the ceiling. Black mold and mildew in the bathtub, i didnt want to step foot in there. My dad wanted to take a bath (yuk) and we could not plug up the bath drain. Once i figured it out and filled the tub we could not undrain the water, the plug would not open. I couldnt get wireless at first, took me a while to get a wireless signal and once i did it was very weak. The towels were paper thin and we had maybe 3 to share between us. The pillows were as flat as pancakes and the sheets and blankets were filthy, stains all over the carpeting (thank god i brought flip flops) and evidence of dry rot on the walls. If it had not been for my 90 yo father who can barely walk, i would have gladly left for the Motel 6 next door. Will never go back to another AmeriStay Hotel, ever.
