“The Grossest Hotel..... Run AWAY!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 July 2011

DISGUSTING, FILTHY, GROSS does not begin to describe this hotel. We arrived after driving for over 10 hours looking forward to relaxing at the pool with our children. We checked in and were disappointed to see how old and dirty the lobby was. The first room we were put in was horrible. It smelled of mold, body odor, smoke and garbage. The ceiling was moldy, wall paper peeling off the walls, towel bars falling off the walls. We demanded another room and the staff was irritated by our request. The second room had all the same problems except the smell was a little less potent. We took our kids to the pool to find that it was not heated and FREEZING. Trying to make the most of it our kids decided to brave the water until my son discovered dirty band aids and wet garbage at the bottom of the pool. We went back to our room and tried to settle for the night only to pull the sheets down to find a scab under the blankets on the sheets. We requested a roll away cot and when it was delivered to us the man let himself into our room with out knocking. My husband and son walked to the vending machine to find expired food and encountered a very drunk woman passed out and her friend approaching my husband to explain to him that the woman had spent too much time partying with the guys who lived in another part of the hotel. After a very sleepless night due to all the bug bites I experienced on my feet while in the hotel room my family and I decided to get the hell out of there. My husband went to the front desk in the morning to as for fresh towels and couldn't get any as the only person working there was making breakfast that we in no way would have considered eating. We left at 4 am because we felt so incredibly mortified by the state of the facility. The most ironic part was that the "Housekeeper
" left us an envelope to leave gratuity in. What as joke. I have called the owner/manager Mike Patel 6 times and left messages. He has not returned one message. Customer service is terrible. This is the worst hotel experience of my life and my next call is to the Better Business Bureau. Wake up Mr. Patel. Your establishment is a waste of space.

“More Effort Required”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 July 2011

Had earned a free night and only stayed so we wouldn't lose our points. 1st room was unacceptable, 2nd room better, which means cobwebs, burn holes in the bedspread, no blankets on the beds, faceplate on an outlet which was broken and had been taped on (new ones are 69 cents.) Ice machine was broken, community areas very grubby with mold near the cold pool. Whole place needs updating. Breakfast bar was grubby - we left and ate elsewhere. Our mistake was not checking the reviews before we made the reservation. On the bright side it was a great lesson for my kids - you get what you pay for.....

“It's bad, folks.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 April 2011

IF you are considering this hotel, I would highly recommend checking out the hotels at Merchants Drive. This hotel is dated and has made no attempt to renovate that we could tell. Creepy suspended ceilings in bathroom, chintzy furnature, odor of cleaning chemicals that doesn't leave, air conditioner that cannot cut the heat in 80 degree weather: all of these are just a few reasons that I would not recommend this hotel. The breakfast bar was the worst I had seen in a while. Out of coffee at 8:30 AM. Waffles were good, but the mix was almost gone. Staff seemed irritated that I asked about brewing more coffee. I think their furniture was all second hand. Mattresses too, probably.

“Worst hotel experience ever!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 November 2010

Worst experience ever at a hotel. Hotel staff rude. "Indoor heated pool" was a pool with a roof in an unheated and unlighted room. Room was dirty, dusty, cobwebs. Cigarette burns on blankets in non smoking room. Old food and cold coffee are a brief explanation of breakfast. Almost fell in lobby due to missing wet floor sign on fresh mop floor. Shower stopped up, would not drain until maintenance came in and plunged it for 15+ minutes and could not speak English to answer if it was ok. Wallpaper peeling from walls. Wireless internet was non functional and caused me to miss online school deadline. Outlets were cracked and pulling out of walls.TV was stuck in a guide mode that we could hear and not see the show. Room next to us had dirty towels outside door the entire time. Garbage can in walkway was overstuffed with smelly garbage. Cigarette butts everywhere. Furniture falling apart. Stains on the ceiling and black mold growing in the bathtub. Many other things I have not even mentioned.

“Never again!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 June 2010

The towels had huge holes and rusty stains on them, the air conditioning would not cool, the sugar shipment had not come in for breakfast, and when I asked for more muffins to be put out on the breakfast (if that's what you want to call it) bar, they were frozen solid and could not be eaten. Need I say more?
