NASTY NASTY NASTY !!!!!!! There is not a rating low enough for this hotel.I have never been through anything like I have at this hotel. We were booked to stay one night at this place on the way to a Nascar race (they had jacked the rates up double the normal rate because of the race) The place was nasty on the outside that should have told us what the inside was going to be like. Any hotel I stay at I always look at the sheets the first thing, these seem to be ok (I know now that you need to look under the sheets and in the pillow cases). We were only in bed for a couple of hours and felt something crawling, turned the lights on (bedbugs normally only come out in the dark) and there were masses of bugs. We called the front desk and wanted someone to come up to our room to witness these bugs all they had to say was what kind of bugs are they? It doesn't matter what kind they are just send someone up here and he said he would send maintenance, after a couple of minutes he called back and said maintenance would not get out of bed just to come and get a refund. Then he did not want to give us the tax back on the charge for the room. Needless to say he did give the entire amount back before we left. I have since contaced the hotel to give them my opinion but have yet to have anyone contact me I guess they just don't care or maybe they don't understand ENGLISH. I also thought that since we did not feel anything biting us we were ok, I have since found out that you do not feel the bugs biting you and it can take up to almost two weeks before the bites show up. I was there for two hours and have about 50 bites (I hate to even think what it would have been like if we were there the whole night). These bites appeared about ten days after we left there.There was 4 people in this room and we all have been bitten. This is not only disgusting but very embarrassing. What ever you do do not stay at this hotel because as many bugs that were in that room the others have to just as infested.
