The staff at this Hotel sucks. The Housekeeper manager was the best thing that happen to this place. She handled front desk our maintenance issues and she assured us that she would make our stay pleasant. Come to find out she only has been there for a month or so but she handled herself like she had been there for years. As she walked away her staff belittled her and that was very unprofessional. The way I see it she should be there more often I would come back. As for the rooms they could use more paint and a few other issues but need more people with that smile!!!

I had made reservations for 2 nights. I was told I would be in a room with 2 queen size bed, a new flat screen TV and a refrigerator. The pictures online looked like it would be nice accomodations. I have staye in Microtels before in MIssouri and was very pleased. I got their after 6:00, checked in and got my keys. Went to me room and was hit by the smell when I walked in. It was a smell that is hard to describe. The room looked shabby. It did have the flatscreen tv as promised. It also had the refrigterator, but it was so frozen in the freezer section the door couldn't even shut. I went and told the desk clerk I did not want to stay there and wanted a refund. She told me it was a confirmed reservation and that I couldn't get a refund. After insisting on her calling her manager I did get a refund. I would NEVER stay at this hotel. Motel 6 would beat this hotel on it's worse day.

I spent two nights in the Microtel Inn in Jackson and enjoyed it. Jackson is a large town, between Memphis and Nashville, and is a good base to explore the western part of Tennessee. There are lots of restaurants and shops in Jackson. There are many motels and hotels to choose from in Jackson but I chose the Microtel Inn because it offered good value. I had a nice room, up on the top floor, facing Vann Drive and not the interstate, so I didn't hear the trucks rolling down the highway during the night. I would stay here again the next time I'm in Jackson.

The room had a bad odor to it and was very small. When we went down to get extra towels it took an hour and a half to get them and 4 hours to get extra pillows. And none of the vending machines in the hotel worked (was there 2 days and never got fixed).
