I have stayed in 4 different hotels in the Jackson area, and this one was a 3 out of 5 overall. The price was good, the king size bed was nice and comfortable, the pillows were not. The bathroom was very small but for 1 person it was fine. The room was a good size. The road noise was terrible. If you are looking for a peaceful night sleep after a long day of traveling, you may want to get away from the highway. I could hear road noise all night; I was hoping to sleep late but around 9 ish here comes housekeeping. It will not matter if you have the do not disturb on the door because you will hear them knocking loudly and calling out loudly housekeeping at every door up and down the hallway. It's an indoor hallway. The road noise may not be as bad on the side away from the highway. All staff was very friendly.

First we checked for bedbugs and there was none, however in our search for bugs we discovered how they really do NOT clean the rooms. If you go, check out room 214 we left an M&M on the floor under the bed between the wall and bed with the date on it. There was smeared deodarant on the dresser and anything that was not in the center of the room did NOT get cleaned!!! Hair in the tub and a big brown spot behind the toilet. This was our first trip of many and we will not be returning to any Baymont Inn & Suite.
I would have like to send an e-mail to Baymont but there is no option except this.

I stayed here last week and it was pretty bad. The guy at the front desk was really nice and friendly but came off kind of desperate, like he owned the hotel and was hurting for my business.

The pool by the lobby looked cool enough, but i never checked it out. The room was spacious with a tv, an ac, microwave/mini fridge combo, and a king bed. The tv remote didnt work, and its a flat panel mounted on the wall so changing the channel/volume was a pain. The ac didnt blow cold air, but at least kept it circulating. The internet didnt work one bit. I was given a password for the wireless and it never connected, and when I complained the guy up front just wanted to play around with my settings for 'a while'. There are no ethernet ports in the room, unlike their website claims. The shampoo you get also isnt in a bottle, you get an individual one time use plastic bag, like a ketchup packet. Breakfast was pretty bad. Cold bagels, muffins, and biscuits. About 8 of each, and once theyre gone, theyre gone. The room you eat in is about the size of one of the bathrooms, and if more than 1 person at a time is in there its an annoyance.

Bottom line: for 90 bucks a night this place isnt worth it.

We were in Jackson, so my hubby could have surgery @ Jackson Regional Hospital on his knee. The staff was very helpful to my hubby, is handicapped, & arrived several hours before I did & they were very helpful to him. A HUGH Thank You to them. We will be back.
