We recently stayed at the Comfort Inn in Jackson TN and were very pleased with the hotel!!! I didn't know the Jackson area very well and didn't have a clear idea where the hotel was located. The location is not centrally located in Jackson, but that has it's advantages - no traffic issues. (It is located on Exit 85 of I-40, just a few miles from the busiest part of Jackson.) Although it is right on the interstate, it was very quiet.

When we checked in to the room, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The check-in went very smoothly and the staff directed us to our room. When we entered the room, it was a bit warm, but it didn't take long to cool off when we turned on the fan. After a VERY thorough check of the room and bathroom, I was impressed with the cleanliness!! The room size was ideal, with plenty of room to move around. The bedding was very clean and showed no wear at all. Carpets were clean, as were the draperies. There were no spider webs in the corners of the walls or ceilings. No dust on any of the furniture, lamps or other surfaces. I couldn't believe how clean the bathroom was - sparkling!! There were no strange odors in the room or halls.

When we returned to our room after dinner and fun in town (easy access), we turned the air conditioner on (even though it was February, it was a mild day and we are hot-natured people). The air conditioner / fan worked great!! It wasn't too loud, but provided the "white noise" we are used to at home. We never heard any of the traffic from the interstate, noise in the hall or from any of the adjoining rooms. The beds were very comfortable!!! We had a great night's sleep!

The shower was very clean and the water pressure perfect. The shower head put out a stream of water like a "rain head" shower head. Very relaxing. Hot water was no issue.

The only thing I could not comment on would be the breakfast. We were in town visiting and met others out for breakfast. However, I did observe the other guests in the cafe and they all seemed to be enjoying their breakfast.

My only complaint was I had problems accessing the wi-fi with my phone ( I did not have an "accept" option needed to access the wi-fi.) With our experience with the staff, I'm sure all I would have to do was contact the front desk and the issue would have been resolved. It just wasn't that important to me.

Upon our departure, the manager inquired about our stay and wanted to make sure everything was to our liking. He was very attentive and professional. I have to say I would have a difficult time staying anywhere else. A great place to stay for a great price!!
