I stayed back in November but I am just now writing a review. I proposed to my fiancee at Blue Moon Farm and the whole experience was absolutely perfect.
I wanted to have the place decorated and candles lit before our arrival. I arranged for my sister to go to the inn before my arrival to decorate and place candles all over the rooms. The innkeeper not only met my sister, but she also helped with the decorating and lit the candles just before our arrival. When we arrived, she briefly showed us to the room.
The place is not really a bed and breakfast in the sense that you are the only guests on the property. The room is kind of like a little cottage connected to the main farm house by a long deck. There are no shared walls with any other structure, and the cottage has complete privacy. The rooms are extremely clean, and beutifully decorated. The bathroom, was one of the most amazing that I have ever seen. It was all white/gray marble. The tub was huge with jets. The shower, was, I would guess, about 12 ft by 3 ft with 4 shower heads and hot water that never ran out!! There was a deck which wrapped around the whole cottage, with great views of rolling hills and farmland. The kitchen was stocked with tons of local food and snacks which we feasted on all weekend. There was even a little bottle of wine from a local winery in the fridge. For breakfast, a casserole had been prepared with instructions for preperation. We just threw it in the oven for a few minutes and it was awesome. Honestly after seeing the innkeeper on the first night, we did not see her again, but our needs were so well anticipated, that there was nothing that we needed. It was like we were in this private little paradise with no one to bother us. I still can't believe how close it is to Nashville, becaue when you are there, you feel like a million miles away. I could not have imagined a better way and place to propose to my future wife. We can't wait to come back!
P.S. We loved the bath robes!
