It's not the newest hotel room, but you get the impression that these folks really care about their hotel. The hotel is very well-maintained. Maybe it's just Tennessee hospitality, but these folks are very friendly, warm, and caring. You feel more like a family visit and not just a business transaction. Yet they aren't intrusive.

It's located in a quieter location than many chain hotels. I travelled with my dog and there's a great big lovely field right next door. The hotel policy is for a room inspection before check-out. It's a bit of an irregularity in the check-out experience, but they are up front about it and so long as your pet is well-behaved, the inspection is a breeze.

I recently stayed at this hotel for one night during a business trip. I always choose Hampton Inns because they are predictable and a very good value. The staff and breakfast at this Hampton Inn were top notch. When my toothpaste got confiscated, the woman at the hotel desk happily got me some.

Breakfast included omelets, sausage, waffles, and the usual continental breakfast favorites like yogurts, bagels, and danishes. Their bold coffee is amazing.

They also offer free wi-fi and parking.

There were only two problems with the hotel. The first is that is doesn't have an elevator. It was OK for me with my two bags (the man at check-in offered to carry them to my room for me!), but for a family with a lot of luggage, it would be a pain. The other issue is that the hotel is located close to the highway and it was very noisy. This may not bother some people, but I wasn't used to the noise. At one point, I awoke with a start thinking that an airplane was landing next to my room. It was just a 18-wheeler.

There was a small outdoor pool, but it was closed.

Next time, I'll stay on the first floor in an even numbered room.

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again.

Traveling with my wife, 19 month old baby, and two pets, this was a pleasant stay for us.

Very clean. Updated decor. Courteous staff.

Loved the free wireless internet -- very convenient and fast!

Breakfast was a nice addition -- enabled us to grab a quick bite on our way out the door.

Location is nice, too -- tucked behind the shopping mall away from traffic and noise -- yet situated nicely in relation to restaurants, main roads, and the highway.

Only minor complaint would be the room inspection upon checkout. I'd already signed a pet waiver and given them my credit card -- having to spend extra time waiting on the clerk to follow me to my room was irritating while trying to get headed out on our drive home.
