My visit was actually 8/10, but I just noticed that my spam filter ate the confirmation email.
Room 239
summary:
From the previous reviews, it looks like the rooms at this motel are a hit-or-miss. Unfortunately, mine was a miss.
The good:
I was greeted immediately on the lobby, despite getting in at 11:00. The teller was very polite, and even quoted me the coupon price over the phone before I'd noticed there was one. The lobby, and what I could see of the breakfast area were in good condition.
The bad:
My room was situated on the back side of the second (older?) building next to the woods. the room was in fair condition (see next section). It looks like this side of the building is more for truckers, and "longer term" residents. The parking lot was poorly lit, and the pavement had disintegrated.
The Room:
While serviceable, the appliances were clearly old and had suffered a lot of abuse. The A/C unit and TV were both disconnected when I arrived, and the Comcast branded Digital convertor wouldn't pull in half the channels that were listed.
The bathroom looked like it had been disinfected, but hadn't seen a scrub brush in a while.
