I was quite surprised to read all of the 5 star reviews of this hotel. My wife and I agree that this is standard run-of-mill Hampton Inn. There was nothing particularly wrong with the hotel, but nothing to really distinguish it from similar hotels.

The front desk staff both on check-in and check-out were pleasant and welcoming. The lobby was typical Hampton Inn with standard decor. The room was clean but very crowded. We like to get a room with a sofa so we have extra room but according to the desk clerk this hotel does not have that kind of room. I asked for the largest room available and we were given a room with two queen beds, little room for anything else.

I know the hotel cannot control this, but whoever was in the room above us must have been practicing jumping jacks - lots of thumping around in the evening and the next morning. While the hotel cannot control guest conduct for the most part, this noise was distracting, not enough to complain but enough to be annoying.

All areas of the hotel were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was a bit sparse. In addition to the standard waffles, the only hot items were bagel toppers, OK but no other choices. The only fresh fruit were apples, no bananas.

The location right off of I-40 was convenient and the rate was good.

I would not go out of my way to stay here again (unlike the Murfreesboro Hampton where I do plan travel times so we can make that location an overnight stop). If it is on your route and it is time to stop, there is nothing wrong with this Hampton Inn, but nothing to really make it stand out.

Large rooms, iron/board, micro, cof. mkr., small ref, hairdryer, large flatscreen tv, free wi/fi. Ultra comfy king bed, quiet in all respects. Central location to shopping and nearby state parks/activities. All you folks with allergies, pets are not allowed. Above all CLEAN!!! Free parking, wi/fi, excercise room, business center. Huge breakfast: 4 coffees, 2 juices, many teas, eggs, sliced sausage, fresh fruit, yogourt, 4 kinds of muffins, bear claws, 3 kinds of bread to toast, waffles, syrup, 3 kinds of jams, 2% and skim milk, 4 kinds of cold cereal, oatmeal, bagels, english muffins. To the employees: be proud of your efforts!!

I have stayed in many Hamptons and this one is as clean and comfortable as any. The breakfast area is large enough so there are always enough tables and they always make sure there is plenty of coffeee all day long. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I only have one thing I would change about it - the rooms could be a little larger and I wish they had either a recliner or a sofa in the rooms.

My wife and I have stayed at Hampton Inns throughout Ga. & Fl. This one ranks among the best. It is fairly new and very clean. Plenty of parking area close to building. The rooms are spacious with large bath, (loved the HUGH walk in shower) and the flat screen HDTV was very nice. We have stayed here 2 years in a row, during the Hwy. 127 Yard Sale and will be back next year.. A nice little treat , (they offered complimentary fresh baked cookies in the dinning area in the afternoons & they were delicious.) Wish all Hampton Inns were like this one!
