Found bed bugs in my bed and my son's bed. Night attendant saw them. Next morning manager denied allegations. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

This stay was the absolute worst I have ever experienced in my entire life. First, the television did not work, they admitted to having some conflict with their television provider. Next, the internet didn't work; another excuse.. There were beer bottle caps left in the room by some other attendants. Lastly, the worst part of the stay, BED BUGS!

I have never seen or experienced bed bugs before until now. When I woke up in the morning, I noticed a bug crawling on the side of the bed. I took a piece of plastic wrapper, and smashed it. To my amazement, the bug was FILLED with blood; from my body unfortunately. After alerting my friend, he noticed some bugs crawling behind his head board. These were also filled with blood. Additionally, the sheets we had used had spots of our own blood all over them.

We quickly alerted the minimal staff at the hotel. The cleaning guy (who barely spoke English by the way) followed us back to our room. He knew exactly where to look. He moved back the headboard, and there were 3 bed bugs crawling around. He smashed one with his bare finger, and said, "Yes, bed bug". Then continued to mumble in broken English about Terminex.

The manager was not there, an we were told he wouldn't arrive for a few more hours. We left our information with the front desk and we were assured someone would call. Someone did eventually call. A very rude manager. I can't remember his name unfortunately.. I simply asked for a refund, and that is all. He said no. I couldn't believe it! He tried to blame the bed bugs on my friend and I.. After I argued with this jerk, he offered me a 10% discount. Jeeze, thanks for the $10 - I feel much better now after being a buffet for the bed bugs!

I called the health department and they said they would send an inspector.. I also filed a claim with the better business bureau; and I wasn't the only one. here are a ton of reports of the bed bugs at this hotel. The worst. I would have rather slept under a bridge. I have never been so disgusted in my entire life.. If you have had a similar experience at this crap hole, please call the health department in Shelby TN. And by all means, avoid this place if you value your blood..

While staying at this particular Mictrotel Inn in Cordova, TN January 2, 2011 very soon after retiring for the night I woke to something crawling down my chest. Lying in the dark my first thought was a spider, but NO! Turned on the light, I had a big spot of blood on my thumb...it took very little more effort to realize there must be bed bugs! I had never seen bed bugs before! I quickly showered, dressed, went down to make the management aware and ask for a refund. I found that management was already aware and no refund would be given...DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!!

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The first time my friend and I stayed here, we had no problems. Nice quite room for a Saturday night. Well, it was a different story the next time around. We decided to get a suite on the second floor seeing because the hotel was booked up. It was a last minute stay on a Saturday night. Everything was pretty clean other than the remote control not working and a few spots on the sheets. Well a few days after our stay, we both noticed red itchy bumps. We did a little online research and made a pharmacy visit to realize that the red itchy bumps were from BED BUGS. It's a shame too because the price and location was awesome,but I will definitely not be staying here ever again.
