We stayed over Labor Day Weekend & our room was comfy & clean! The continental breakfast was biscuits & gravy muffins juice toast & cereal. We needed more towels & they brought them right away. Coildn't ask for more from these awesome owners

I stayed at this motel once before years ago under different label , and management and being newer at the time was somewhat better. The room I got on this occasion was far worse.
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful, common areas were clean and neat, pool, free parking, wireless internet (slow), well lighted parking lot, quiet on the side away from interstate traffic.
Cons: Room not clean, door warped with a large crack at the bottom which let in mosquitos and other critters I did not care to sleep with, bathtub drain had no stopper and was running slow due to hair and other debris, water valve had a handle not made for it and turned 360 degrees, spider webs with occupants on the ceiling, pillows hard and uncomfortable , outside entry.
In summary I will not be staying here again and advise others to do the same. There are several other motels at this intersection with the same or lower rates. And if you do have to pay a little more it will be worth it.

Red Roof Inns offered us a deal for 2011. A room anywhere on Jan. 2nd for $20.11. We took them up on the deal and stayed at Clinton and went to the Museum of Appalachia the next day. We took our two dogs. The first one stayed free but we paid $10 for the second one which wasn't bad. The room was very clean, especially for a "pet" room and did not have any odor at all. The bed covers and furniture was a little old and outdated, but the beds were clean and comfortable with 3 big thick pillows on each bed. The desk clerks were very nice. This motel has room access from the outside which I like because you can just back up to the door and unload your stuff. Breakfast wasn't so good. We decided to go elsewhere to eat.
