“nice clean hotel with friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

Recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on a business trip. It was very clean and my room was rather large. They have the morning hot breakfast buffet which is always great, but this location has a weekday "social hour" in their lobby with different food each night. They had pizza one night while I was there.Staff made sure I knew about it upon check-in. Very nice touch if you are too tired to go out. Nice location in the middle of restaurants and shopping.

“Suitable For One Night”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2011

Has lots of age on it, but it was very clean. Popcorn, chips, cookies and water were plentiful for snacking. The only negative is the fabric softener smell that is activated when the heating system is turned on. I had to open the door to let in fresh air. The manager was told about it, was very interested and apologized.

Room Tip: Only two floors, if you need an elevator, ask for a room on the first floor

“Shades of Days Inn”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2011

The building wa not up to the ususal Hampton Insn standards. Had to carry luggage to the second level using a outside staircase to a room that opened to the outside. The room was fine, there were nuerous restautants nearby nad it was close to the interstate. HOwever, it is about a block from a fire station, so you hear sirens during the night. I would not go back.

“Wish I could have stayed longer.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 September 2011

Great hospitality, clean rooms, nice pool and friendly personnel. Upon check in I was invited to help myself to an array of snacks- cookies, pretzels, bottled water, etc. Nice after a long drive. Did not stay long enought to use the Exercise Room but it appeared well equipped, with several machines. A storm in the middle of the night knocked out power to the area but it was restored within and hour or tow. Winds blew chairs and debris into the pool but they were cleaning it up first thing in the morning. Breakfast was good with waffles, sausage, yogurt, fruit and great coffee. Will stay again and recommend.

“Nice place but didn't like the double beds.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 August 2011

After the place we stayed in at Perry, Ga- this was a nice relief. The room was clean and breakfast was good. The thing I didn't like was that we paid $88 a night and ended up with double beds. It is hard to sleep in double beds when you are used to a king sized bed so sleeping was cramped. The air-conditioning worked wonderfully!
