The clerk at this hotel was friendly as a rattlesnake. When I inquired about your using my Wyndham Rewards Point for the stay, she said she didn't know how to do that. You've got to be kidding! This is the leading hotel chain in the Wyndham Rewards Program, and the staff doesn't know how to let you use your Rewards points.
When we got to the room, we found the heat on. It's the middle of September in the South, and they're running the heat? We quickly realized that the beds had no blankets on them. Instead they were outfitted with these ridiculous duvets, which are some obscene combination of a comforter and sheets. A blanket they are not. Trying to sleep under them is like sleeping under a tent that fell on you. When we requested blankets from the clerk, she acted like we were asking for special treatment, and walked off in a huff.
This is another example of a hotel chain pretending to be an upscale luxury hotel, yet it can't put blankets on the bed and will only change your sheets every three days unless you ask them to.
If a hotel is going to be in the hospitality industry, they ought to know the meaning of the word hospitality. The staff here clearly does not.
