There were open outlets in two places. Under the desk and the outlet behind the nightstand had half it's cover missing. If we had a child or pet with us it would have been a real electrocution hazard. Also the wires were exposed behind the hairdryer, and the toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall. The bottom sheet was stained and had holes in it. We travel with our own towels and sheets because I have allergies to certain detergents. If we hadn't had our own we'ed have left. I did use one of their washcloths to see how clean the bathroom floor was and it game up dark gray with dirt and there was mildew in the shower grout. The closet doors wouldn't stay shut so every time we opened the bathroom door it would bang into them. The couch also had a stain on it and the lamp on one of the night tables had a messed up switch that was lose and you had to wiggle and twist it at the same time to make it turn on and off. We went to Walmart and bought cleaners and I cleaned the room myself and doused it in Lysol for good measure. (if they didn't do it right the first time I didn't trust them to do it better if I complained) The microwave made a terrible loud noise when we turned it on and we promptly turned it back off. The heat/air unit made it feel like the middle of the desert one minute and the next was like being in the arctic. It was very hard to find a middle ground. The breakfast was nauseating with the exception of the waffle maker set up. The first morning the only eggs they had were hard boiled. The doughnuts,biscuits, and bagels were dry enough to choke you and the sausage was so spicy it was almost inedible. The next day the "eggs" were nasty over cooked dried out egg substitute pancakes. They never had gravy. The syrup for the waffles was off-off brand and had a bad after taste. The fruit was on the verge of going bad. The hot water for tea, hot coco, and ect. wasn't even hot enough to dissolve the cocoa, and the milk for the cereal was room temp. The indoor pool had a green tinge to it and we decided not to use it. The bed was comfortable after I disinfected it and it slept good. We didn't use the coffee maker in room because we didn't trust it to be clean. The staff was nice enough but weren't knowledgeable about the local attractions. We stayed in room 118 which was a handicap accessible room or so they said. The sink was really too high for a lot of wheelchairs bound people to reach the faucet and if in a chair you wouldn't have been able to reach the closet bar or even open the closet doors because of the close space. I sometimes have to be in a wheelchair, but this trip I was able to get away with just my cane. The room was also the second to last room which made it farthest from the lobby and breakfast area meaning you have the farthest to go when you are the one who has trouble getting around and since all the doors to the rooms are outside you are exposed to the elements the entire way. We won't be staying there again.

I stayed here in 2009 and wrote a review titled "Never again". My disappointment last time had to do with a toilet which leaked to the point of flooding the bathroom and fiies in the room. This visit the toilet did not flood, neither were there flies in the room. So, our last two trips to Chattanooga we stayed at another property but then decided to try this one again. The room and bathroom were very clean and the office staff was very friendly (except for the head housekeeper), the breakfast was adequate and the pool was very clean and at a perfect temperature. The WiFi was excellent. This property always seemed a litte bit "old" but the price was good and the deciding factor was the hot tub but since they got rid of it, I will not be staying here again

This particular location has a very customer-friendly staff. They are very gracious. The grounds are lovely. The indoor pool is always clean. The equipment in the weight room is in good working condition. I have stayed at this particular location for nine months each year for the past four years. If something doesn't work or you are not happy for any reason, talk to them. They will do everything they can to see that your stay is a pleasant one.

I stayed at this property for 10 nights and had a wonderful time. I had called ahead and asked for a ground floor room as I had a scooter rented, and when I got there they had no record of my request but the desk clerk checked and the handicapped suite was available for my visit. It was quiet and nice that you could walk right out to your car. They had a beautiful indoor pool. The hot tub was cemented in. The breakfast varied,. Some days had scrambled eggs and sausage, other days hard boiled eggs, also waffles you could make yourself, cereal toast coffee, donuts, juice. Housekeeping was friendly but didnt understand English very well. Light bulb was burnt out and replaced promptly.Front desk couldnt have been more nice or helpful. I was very pleased with them.
I wouldnt really call the room a suite. It consisted of a couch coffee table and desk (with free wi fi by the way) and then a divider that only went halfway up then the bed, two dressers, the fridge and microwave were part of the bedroom area, and the microwave was 5 ft in the air, so if you couldnt get out of your wheelchair you would have a hard time using it.
Bathroom was very roomy. Beds were very comfortable.Had a great stay in chattanooga!
