With professional chefs on hand (including a pastry chef) using fresh ingredients, Terra Nostra can't be beat. The food is made on site, not frozen, and comes out as it's ready, so not every item ordered arrives at once. As a tapas restaurant, the portions are small, so keep that in mind. They will also have an offering of interesting dishes you probably won't get elsewhere, such as dates stuffed with bacon wrapped cheese or a type of quail pâté. I'm not as adventurous as others and prefer a delicious filet mignon dish or the asparagus au gratin. Last night's dessert, among many, was almond paste cake with chocolate mousse and raspberry sauce. I'm ready to go back!! Parking is in the back of the restaurant, so don't let busy Frazier Ave keep you away. The restaurant is full of original art and gorgeous colors. It's rather small, so I recommend making a reservation on weekends.
