“Keep Driving”

Where do I begin? Person at the desk was not friendly and inviting, the key card only worked for the door 1 in 5 times, there was no temperature control knob on the AC unit, the power button on the remote did not work for the TV, dirty floor, mold in the bathroom, I could go on (an I should have down the road).

“Didn't even make it in the front door”

This hotel chain is not for the squeamish, seasoned or discriminating traveler. Not knowing exactly what it was, I booked a room and upon arrival, saw that this was a decrepit old motor inn that had been given a fresh coat of paint and a new sign. The next day, after cancelling our booking, we realized that ALL motels in this chain are equally scary-looking.

“I would be afraid to stay here again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2011

This was a terrible hotel. The staff was scary, the rooms were filthy. We had booked in advance and told them we had a small dog which we had to pay a small fee for. In the middle of the night, there was a knock on the door and the dog started barking. It was the management asking of we had a dog in the room (duh - no it's my husband barking!!). They told us the people were complaining. She hadn't barked until he came to the door and there were not other people staying in that section of the hotel. It was just a bad experience altogether.

“Filthy & false advertising. Avoid this one.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 November 2010

This hotel failed to honor their travelers coupon advertised price for the room because of a "convention" in town, yet the parking lot remained strangely empty. I wish I had gone elsewhere rather than pay double the advertised price, but it was already after 10 pm when we arrived. The room keycard (with the room number written on it) only worked sporadically. Fortunately my 5 year old was eventually able to figure out how to open the door to let me back inside the room when it failed. The dark green carpeting was disgustingly filthy and had various large patches of dark, hard and sticky substances embedded. The beds were uncomfortably hard & sound from the nearby highway was loud. No clock, no Kleenex, threadbare towels, holey sheets, "catsup"-packet shampoo, and bad caulking around the shower & tub indicated an extreme "no frills" room contrary to the advertising. The "complimentary continental breakfast" (which I had to ask for) consisted of coffee from a pot so dirty I couldn't bring myself to risk it and a choice of 3 off-brand twinkie-type "pastries" that my sweet-loving 5 year old wouldn't eat after tasting one. This was by far the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. It takes real effort to produce a hotel experience this bad. On the plus side, the free wifi did work.

“Clean rooms and quiet hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 September 2010

I stayed two nights and have absolutely no complaints. The room was clean, there is a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Convenient to I75 and I24. Would stay here again. I had a coupon from a hotel book that reduced the price of the hotel to $29.95 night -good value for the money.
