“Hotel 15 minute walk to Downtown River and market area”

My wife and I stayed here on the 20 th January 2012. The hotel is clean and the staff very experience yet not jaded as sometimes happens with knowledgeable staff. The room had a fridge and king size bed and was comfortable and clean the view was nothing to speak of. We went for dinner in their dining room and was pleased they had a nightly 3 course special $29.00 each, the waiter was an elderly gentleman and thoroughly acquainted with the wine list the meal was excellent with a few chef specialties nice surprise. Parking is covered above ground with head room for large SUV's etc. . $8 self park or $14 valet, with in/out privileges. The day we arrived it was raining and the lobby had a large gas fire place very warn and comfortable feeling when you enter the hotel. I would stay here again

“Excellent Hotel”

We enjoy staying at the Chattanoogan during Christmas and again in January 2012. The staff makes us feel welcome. Our rooms was very comfortable and clean. From the Valet Parking attendants to the staff who clean the rooms, everyone was friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff is always accommadating. They serve the best omelets and scones I have ever tasted.

“A great stay”

I stayed at the Chattanoogan while attending a conference being held on premise. Overall my stay was great, there were a few things that could use improvement though. The Showerhead in the bathroom was horrible and could not be adjusted. A mini fridge in the room would be a nice addition also. The conference facilities are top notch. The hotel staff was very friendly and genuinely concerned about making your stay a good one.

Thank you for the constructive thoughts you have shared on your review. Currently only our 5th floor rooms offer mini refrigerators however we will continue installing them on the lower floors over the next twelve months.
We enjoyed having you and your guests here for last weeks conference, and I happy you enjoyed your stay.

Ok so it is a nice hotel.You get charged for it being a nice hotel.But wait you also get charged to park your car! What a crappy way to treat customers. You already have to pay atleast $139 for the room(without tax) then you get to pay a additional $8 dollars to park not to mention they will give a active duty military a small discount but a disabled vet....good luck! I will not waste a drop of my money here!

I am sorry you were disappointed in having a parking fee, however I wanted to make you aware the garage is not the hotels and the parking fee is passed on to the garage management company for maintaining a secure garage.

We love the chattanoogan! We have stayed on two trips and all was good. This last time our only complaint was breakfast. The food was cold. The location is great . It is in a quiet area. We went both times as a family . I would recommend this to families .

Room Tip: We had a city view. Which was great. Also we asked to be placed a few floors above the smoking floor...
