“Good Value With Some Nice Extras”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

For a grand total of $66 after taxes, we were given a clean, spacious room with nice linens and large television. This centrally-located hotel was not fancy, but offered a great breakfast, wifi access, and hot beverages at night. The hallways were quiet all night and we enjoyed a good night's sleep.

Chattanooga makes for a great family weekend getaway, and the money you will save staying at La Quinta can purchase tickets to fantastic attractions.

AREA TIP: Most attractions are very good (Incline Railway, Rock City, Children's Museum, Choo Choo, etc.), but the aquarium is the clear winner for our family. If you want to avoid paying for parking near the aquarium, park for free at the Choo Choo and take the complimentary shuttle bus that departs from the adjacent transit center.

“Even had a catered Super Bowl Party”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

We always try to stay at LQ because of their pet friendly policy and uncompromised service. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and will be back again later this month.

Within 10 minutes of our arrival we received a call asking if we were pleased with the room and if there was anything else that we needed. How nice is that?

Our show ended on Sunday and after 3 and a half days we were tired, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that they had catered a Super Bowl party with wings etc. Such a nice touch!!

This hotel has a fenced in area where our little doggies can go off leash, they love LQ too!
I probably should have put this first, but the initial phone call to reserve a room was also a noted experience with expressed hospitality and friendly capabilities Paula made us look forward to our stay with LQ.

Hotel is just a short drive to the city, beds are great, but lets face it, it's the people that you come in contact with while you are here make the total experience a highly desireable.

Room Tip: If you want to sleep in book a room on parking lot side. If you want a balcony off room ask for it.

“Noisy, Annoying, Probably Best for the Leisure Traveler”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

Just stayed here Feb '12. Not a fan at all. I frequently travel for business, so I need a place to get some work done and sleep after a long day, that's it. Check in took an extended period of time. A guy that was in front of me took his sweet time with the check in process, chatting up the desk clerk and sharing stories, asking meaningless questions. Meanwhile I've got my 60lb travel bag and luggage in hand waiting to get to my damn room. I swear the clerk was being intentionally slow (although very nice) while checking me in and I ended up having to take the damn room key from her hand and excuse myself.

The room was fine, spacious and comfortable. I don't like how La Quinta's have the old shared-room setup with a door that connects guest rooms. Yes they lock them, but these doors and walls do not provide noise reduction at all. All night long from 6pm -11pm there were dogs barking next door and down the hall, TVs blaring, kids yelling and people talking. I could even here the guy next door blowing his nose and hacking stuff up. It was worse in the morning when you could hear every single alarm clock on the floor going off and people were just ignoring them. Basically the place is just very busy, they have a good rate so they seem to be pretty full all the time. I wasn't a fan of breakfast, but that was mainly because of the characters I was forced to share it with. One lady simply stood at the counter the whole time drinking and refilling her milk. Very strange. I'll be sure to stay elsewhere next time. Too busy and loud for me to get anything done or sleep well. This place is better suited for families or people traveling for fun that aren't on a regimented schedule.

We have yet to be disappointed staying at La Quinta. This location was no exception. Beds comfy, bathroom immaculate, breakfast yummy! The hotel was easy to locate, and the room was nice and warm, a great thing on a frosty evening! We also appreciate your pet-friendly policy. We felt totally welcome and comfortable at this hotel.

“Modern, clean, with dogpark nearby”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

We love La Quinta because they accept our two small dogs. This La Quinta is modern and new, and one need not compromise style or cleanliness. There is a small dog park near the stadium, a short drive away. Downtown is within minutes by car too. This hotel is totally non-smoking and we LOVE that! It has a terrific, hot breakfast with home-made scrambled eggs. We and our dogs also enjoyed walking out on the small balconies off many of the rooms. HIghly recommend!
