“Very impressed, we'll be back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 September 2011

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the friendly staff. There are some renovations going on but they didn't affect the quality of our stay. We noticed a billboard just before the exit advertising $59.99 per night and decided to give it a try. This was a bargain for what we experienced and would have paid more. Even though the weather prevented us from using it, the pool looked nice. The complementary breakfast was very good and included eggs, sausage, pastries, biscuits and gravy, and a waffle machine. Nice place- highly recommend it!

“NEVER AGAIN!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2011

We found out the hard way why this place had the lowest prices in the area. YUCK!! The pillows were missing pillow cases. The chair was broken and unusable. The carpet was in shreds. The tub was inaccessible for anyone under six teet.. The breakfast food bar had very little food. The entire place needs a major makeover. The manager was working the front desk and he was very argumentative. Yes, they were short on help but surely they could have at least gone to a temporary employment agency. HOPEFULLY things have improved in the three months since we were there.

Room Tip: Go to another Comfort Inn in the area.

“Exceeded my expectations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 July 2011

We stopped here on our trip North from Florida. No reservation, just too tired to keep driving. At about 10PM on a Saturday night, I was honestly expecting this to just be a bed for the night, probably over-priced, and nothing special. When I walked in, Charlotte was quite accommodating and very sweet. She took great care of us and we ended up in a suite even though we only asked and paid for a double room...can't beat an upgrade at a nearly full hotel! The price was a little high, but within my range. The hallways needed a little update, but the lobby was great and so was our room! It was comfortable and spacious and SPOTLESS. Aside from the occasional door slam down the hall, it was quiet and very peaceful. Where this place really won me over was the breakfast. Eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, waffles, 5 different breads, donuts, muffins, cereals...it really was an honest-to-goodness breakfast buffet! Checkout was quick and easy as well. The staff was all nice and outgoing. I would highly recommend this location!

“Amazingly Surprised”

While staying here, there was a softball tournement going on in the area and a drag race right behind. Traveling 14 hours and this is not what I imagine going down well. Surprise! These rooms are so amazing!!! Did not hear any kids (thank you parents!), their windows & walls were AWESOME - never could hear the races from inside the hotel. The pool did get a bit crowded with all those kids, but everyone needed to blow off steam at that point. Beds were comfy, shower and bathroom were great. Breakfast was very good and coffee was HOT and strong!! For the price, location (this side of Georgia the price was heck of a lot cheaper!) I would recommend staying here again and again and again.

“Would never stay in this run down place ever again, not even for free”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 July 2011

Do not go by the pictures on the website, they are misleading. This place is worst than a Motel and they charge you for a Hotel stay. It is located next to RV park on east side of the Ringgold Rd. This side seems like a rundown area.

Only the lobby area looks OK. Once you enter the corridor, you can smell the musty/humid smell, as there is no ventilation in the corridors. The carpet is dirty and stained on all the floors. The rooms smell of smoke. We had a non-smoking room but it smelled of smoke. The beds are horrible and have a metal platform on which the mattress is placed. The sofa cushion had two different designs. The TV is a CRT, not that I cared much for that. Hotel gives you some kind of electronic key which will cost you $5 per key, if you lose it.
The breakfast included mini-muffins, bread, waffles, 2 kinds of cereals, eggs, gravy, biscuits, sausages, milk, juice, coffee. Two kinds of cereals? No bagels? Juices and milk were in small jugs that had to be refilled regularly by the hotel staff.

This place has not yet replaced to CFL bulbs.

All in all an very bad experience. We were booked for couple of nights but in first 30 mins decided that we will only stay a night and move out. Seems like the owner of this place does not want to spend any money in the upkeep of this place and would rather let it run as is and watch it deteriorate to ground. Fine by me, just don't charge me hotel rate from 95USD to 119 USD a night.

On top of this, they leave a laminated letter requesting you to provide excellent feedback on Trip Advisor. Sure, I am providing excellent feedback for my fellow travellers.

You are better off staying at the Super 8 next door and having a big breakfast at McDonalds instead of staying at this so called hotel.
