We were in Chattanooga for my grandmother's funeral and if the time had permitted, I would have demanded the attention of upper management. I will say I will not compromise quality over price again. The old saying "you get what you pay for" rang very true in this case. The price was one of the very few good things about this motel. First of all when we arrived, and attempted getting into the room, we quickly learned that we had to lift up on the lever of the door and push hard to get in. I notified the front desk and was told they were already aware of it and maintnance would be coming to fix it. The next thing was that there were four people staying in our room and only 3 towels were provided. The wifi was not working(which I needed for work) so I called front desk and was informed that someone would be out to service their internet on Tuesday. Lucky for us we checked out on Monday. Maintnance didnt show up to fix door till Sunday, at which he just walked in and then said he would come back when we checked out. Sunday night, the tv kept going in and out which was very annoying with small children trying to watch it. We also noticed two large black bugs in the floor. We immediately searched the mattresses for bed bugs which we didnt find any however the mattresses did appear to be pretty funky. Monday before we checked out, my husband and children went down for the free daybreak breakfast. What a joke! There was already a man with three children sitting there in the tiny eatting area and they were eatting toast. There were only three boxes of cereal remaining to choose from for my husband and children and another couple and their children had walked in at this point. Only at that time did the clerk decide to come out and make watered down coffee and bring fruit out and a couple more boxes of cereal! While my husband and children were eatting, the front desk clerk or manager(dont know for sure who it was)literally just walked into my room! This was the second time, no knocking, just came right in! She said she was checking the door and apologized and quickly went out. Thankfully I was dressed. When we checked out that same morning, she apologized once again so I told her that was the second time. She didnt say anything, nor did she ask how our stay was. The ONLY thing nice that I have to say about our stay was the bathroom was recently updated with marble slabs in the shower and tile on the floor. I guess this is their idea of rennovations but not mine. The shower also had great water presssure suprisingly. This was such an unpleasant stay and I will still be contacting upper management. Thankfully because of the circumstances, we didnt have to spend alot of time in this room.

I do a lot of traveling and stay at a lot of Wyndham Hotels, this being one of them. I recently reserved a room which I frequently do and have never been charged until I leave. This place charged my card a week before I got there and when I called to cancel the reservation I was told by the person that answered the phone that they don't do the charging, Days Inn is who I needed to speak to. Called Days Inn and was told (which I already knew), in an independent property, the property charges, not Days Inn. Called them back and they told me Days Inn was lying to me. Filed a report with Wyndham and Days Inn and to this day still dont know where my money is.

Stayed here with a group and had a very unenjoyable experience. Rooms smelled terrible. They tried to overcharge us for the rooms. A couple of rooms had left over dirty clothes from prior guests.

The term "NEWLY" renovated that is advertised must be from the 1990's because there is nothing new about this place.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel for anyone.

My boyfriend and I were travelling through Tennessee, and stayed here overnight. The desk attendant checked us in without a reservation, no problem. Apparently, the place is still under renovation, but we were not disturbed by any noises. There was a slight musky or smoky smell in the hall of motel. The room was "stuffy", but once we had the air running for awhile that went away. The room was average, bathroom nice fixtures, but small. The room had a fridge, but it leaked inside. The A/C ran good, but only could go down to 70degrees(its the south and its summer). Internet connection was available and accessed easily. Went to front desk for extra towels and had to wait awhile for someone to respond.
We tried out the pool, the water was chilly(not a heated indoor pool), but was clean and nice depth. There was a fitness center, we did not use, but has the basics like treadmill. The breakfast area is small, so we skipped that and ate out. No elevator was a hassle, since I always overpack, but being only a two story building it is ok. We would stay here again, it is close to interstate and restaurants(waffle house next door and cracker barrel 3miles away). Mall and stores within five miles. The pictures from reviewer in sept 2009, are reflective of current conditions.
