Read the other reviews before you stay here. The property is run-down and needs serious repars. My room smelled bad and the air conditoner was really noisy. The ice machines were broken and there was broken exercise equipment left out n out hallway. The staff was unfriendly and uncaring. The parking lot was closed because it was so damaged that t was unsafe to park cars there. I'll never stay there again.

While visiting with friends in Chattanooga, my husband and I decided to stay the night rather than making the three hour trip home. We remembered a hotel city off of Shallowford, so we checked it out. The place we had previously stayed had changed, so we drove on and came across Comfort Inn and Suites. I ran in to see if there were any availabilities. At nearly midnight on a Saturday night, the night clerk was courteous, friendly, and as quick to get us into a room as the computer system would let him. The room was roomy and comfortable and I had the best night’s sleep I’d had all week. My only complaint is that at breakfast the next morning, the waffle batter server device dripped so slowly, you could make a dozen waffles in the time it took you to fill the cup for one. The staff did not seem concerned about it. We have put this place on our list to stay at again next time we are in the neighborhood!

My wife and I prefer to dine at locally owned restaurants. Seemingly surrounding this Comfort Inn location were chain restaurants. We asked the gentleman at the check in counter if there were any locally owned restaurants nearby. He said no, and immediately went back to his laptop. It seemed to us that he was more interested in his laptop than in assisting us.
Riding around we found 3 local restaurants. We chose one of them and enjoyed a wonderful meal.

Very dissapointed hotel appeared OK but bedding was damp, room was musty, and dark. Air Conditioner very noisy. To top it all we got bites which we assume were bed bugs and are still itching.
