In the Chattanooga area for a Dance/Cheerleading competition in Soddy Daisy. Our group was split between this motel and Country Inns and Suites (also in Hixson). We paid the same rates at each place. We had totally opposite experiences. The heat did not work in the first room we were given. The staff was extremely helpful, bring us keys to another room promptly. We had nice 12 inch thick pillows which became 1 inch thick when we put our heads on them. Terrible. Beds were OK at best. When I went to make some coffee, the in room coffee pot fell apart. The stall immediately offered to give us another coffee pot. Appreciated the gesture, however just got coffee in the lobby. We were on the second floor of this motel. Did I mention NO ELEVATORS. Loved carrying all our luggage up the steps. Best thing I can say is this.....GREAT STAFF......NOT A GOOD PLACE TO STAY! The part of our group that stayed at Country Inns and Suites were thrilled with their accomdations. Go there!!!

We stayed two nights, and if we hadn't booked in advance we would've checked out after first night. The rooms are so outdated and in need of a lot of remodeling. I can't complain with the girls who cleaned the rooms. They do the best they can for what they have to work with. We stayed on the first floor due to a knee problem and it was noisy. The first night there, they had several softball teams and they were very loud. The bathroom had mold around the outside of the bathtub.
I will not stay in this motel again and wouldn't reccommend it to a friend either.

Wow! The girl at the desk was nice that's about the only good thing I can say about it. 2nd floor NO ELEVATOR?? Had ajoining rooms. King was supposed to have a fold out couch. It had a board and no bed?? Called to inquire and was told the maintenance man had left for the day and I could have a roll away instead. That would have been sufficient except I was expected to come DOWNSTAIRS and bring it up MYSELF! WRONG! Had to go at that point. Checked into Hampton Inn down the street and had much better accomodations.

Yes. We found the rooms to be roomy and clean which is what we expect for the price. The air conditioner kept us under the blanket. During our three night stay, Saturday night was the busy night. There was a youth league soccer tournament taking place nearby and the place was filled with screaming teenagers. However the room was able to block out most of the noise and by 10:30 someone had taken control and it was quiet after that. The breakfasts had plenty to eat, including waffles from the ever popular waffle machine. For a tip, one of the housekeepers would cook eggs to order; even omlets. With so much to do in Chattanooga, we did not spend very much time in the room. I had to spend a little time Sunday afternoon on line for work (uck) and had no problems using the free Wi-Fi. The only problem we had was our room key card would not work when we returned from our daily outings. The staff gladly re-keyed it when we brought it to our attention.
