First of all the home is decorated really nice and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small and older but usable. Ellen is a great host and has the perfect personality for a B&B owner. She makes you feel at home and comfortable in her home. The breakfasts were fantastic! We had stuffed French toast, Egg Stratas, Ham & cheese omelets, and various fruits each morning with bacon, ham, and sausage as well. The rates were very reasonable as well. The only down side is that she has 4 cats and a dog that she allows inside the home. There was also another dog that didn't belong to her that was allowed to come inside. She is obviously an animal lover. I am allergic to cats so I had to take antihistamines while I was there, but mostly we were gone exploring. We came into the dining area after breakfast one morning to see if we could get some ice and the long haired cat was laying on the table where we had just had breakfast. I also had a big wad of cat hair on my shoulder after sitting in one of the chairs in this room. I enjoyed my stay and Ellen very much and she is a really nice lady, but I felt that I should include this in the review so that anyone who is not an animal lover would be aware before they book here. Since I am so allergic to cats, I would not have booked here had I known in advance. I didn't mention it to Ellen because it is her home and I didn't want to offend her. Overall if you don't mind cats this is a great place to stay.
