The Hyatt Place hotel – a former AmeriSuites – is a wonderful choice for lodging in Brentwood. It’s conveniently located in a hilltop location just off I-65,close to many restaurants and shopping, and a mile from the Maryland business park.

The staff are all very friendly, and seem genuine in their desire to make guests feel at home. I had no service issues during my stay.

The rooms are standard Hyatt Place fare – the cozy comfort corner sectional sofa is in the front part of the room, separated by a half-wall from the sleeping area. My room was spotless and well maintained. The only annoying aspect of the room – standard for Hyatt Place, it seems – is that the TV cannot be viewed from the work desk. The TV faces the beds and the sofa, but can’t be seen from the desk, which is located around the corner from it. The bed was comfortable, the shower piping hot with plenty of water pressure, and there was a small refrigerator in the room (but curiously, no microwave).

This hotel now offers hot items on its complimentary breakfast buffet. The breakfast sandwiches were really tasty, and the selection of fruits, breads, and hot oatmeal with a variety of toppings was a nice way to start the day. Free USA Today and Wall Street Journal copies are available at breakfast, too.

I’d gladly stay here again for any visit to the Brentwood area of Nashville.

Stayed at the Hyatt with friends last minute for the weekend. First off, I booked the hotel on hotel.com; bad idea. After doing that hotel.com gave me a different day and month with no refund. After calling the hotel and then hotel.com they did fix the problem no charge. The check in staff was very polite and fast. It only took me 2 minutes to check in. The hotel smelled very nice, except for the elevator. Oh well you are only on it for a few seconds. Our room were located right off the elevator. It was okay. You could hear people talking and getting ice but other than that it was fine. Once entering the room we were amazed on how spacious it was and nice. There was a huge couch with ottoman, desk and chair, a sink with a fridge, a large flat screen that does turn towards any direction (which was nice so both beds could see the TV). The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a little small, but it worked for us. The hotel room was very clean and smelled nice.
The hotel also offered a breakfast. I didn't eat there but checked it out. There was a large variety of food to choose from. At the hotel they also had a starbucks.
Overall I would stay here again hands down.

I stayed at this hotel this past weekend with my bf. It was in a nice location, lots of stores nearby and fairly close to the fair grounds. The rooms have modern decor with a large flat screen tv, nice couch, and the bed was very comfy. The room was clean.The only negatives are that there was no microwave in the room, small bathroom with cheap tub is pretty cheap (felt like I was gonna knock a hole in it every time i moved and I'm only 130lbs), and the breakfast wasn't that great(but hey it"s free). I enjoyed my stay here.

Really great hotel especially for the price. This place has the best "hot" continental breakfast I've ever had. This hotel is located in a safe neighborhood not far from many celebrity homes. This hotel is easy to get to. Even though it isn't in downtown Nashville, the location was great for me. If you are looking to get a cab downtown expect to pay appx $25 from here.
