The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that the staff were polite and friendly. Previous reviews are correct - it stinks, very dated, rooms are unclean and need total remodel, hard beds, noisy AC window units, breakfast donuts were definitely made at least the day before! The only way I would ever stay here again is if I were caught in a snowstorm and this was the last place open in town!

We stayed at the Super 8 in Yankton, only because some family also were staying there. The outside looks OK, and the woman at the front desk was very friendly. We were on the ground floor (when looking out the room window, you're level with the street), and it smelled very bad in the hallway, smelled like urine. The room itself also smelled a little bad, again, a very strong urine smell in the bathroom area. The quality of the room just seemed very dated and run down. We did not see any bugs, otherwise we would not have stayed. It was a very hot weekend with highs near 100, and the air conditioner worked very well, but was just extremely loud. The breakfast was very nice in the morning though, but there was no shampoo available in the showers. Overall, had I looked at the room first, I would not have stayed.

Good nights sleep, staff was friendly and helpful. Beds are fairly new and breakfast adequate.

The hotel is a good deal for a traveler needing a bed for the night at a decent rate.
