“Nice Hotel in a small town”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 September 2011

The hotel is located just off I-90 in Wall. We had a comfotable roon with two queen beds. The bathroom was small but sufficient for our needs. Wireless internet connected quickly, the television had a nice selection of channels and good reception. The beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast consisted of cereal, bagels, muffins, milk, and coffee. The price was good, considering motel prices in that area.

“Average motel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 September 2011

We spent one night in Super 8 Wall while visiting the Badlands, because we could not find any accomodation inside the park (which I highly recommend!!).
The room was ok, reasonably clean, the internet connection was sufficiently fast. In the breakfast area there were only three tables: a nightmare with a full hotel. Breakfast was on the low side. We were there at the end of the Sturgis Rally, so the hotel was full and Wall was very crowded. This was our first experience in a Super 8. Not too bad, not very good. In particular, the quality/price ratio was not good at all (quite expensive for what it offers).

“Clean, Friendly, & Close to Great Attractions!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 July 2011

My family and I visited Wall, South Dakota in August 2010. We had reservations for 3 nights, thinking it was going to be enough to see all the attractions we were interested in (Badlands, Wall Drug, Mount Rushmore, Minuteman Missiles). We had some vehicle trouble on our way into South Dakota, so called them last-minute to ask if we could change our reservation from a Wednesday arrival to a Thursday. They were gracious and made the change. When we arrived, they staff was friendly and the room was super-clean. The beds were wonderful, too. The morning breakfast was pretty great, ample enough for our party of five, with bagels, cereal, muffins, toast, juice, milk. It was a good and inexpensive way to start our day. At one point during our stay, we asked for extra cups and towels in the room, and housekeeping was there immediately to provide them. We chatted with them, too, and they made extra sure that our room was really taken care of during our stay. My husband and I decided to stay two more nights, making it a total of four nights, and we spent much of our time in the Badlands, which were AMAZING, and unbelievably close to the hotel. Wall Drug, a cheesy tourist trap by most standards, was a great place to roam, take pictures, shop and eat (the big restaurant had really good food!). There is a 24-hour laundromat, a grocery store, and a Dairy Queen within a two-block radius; we walked to those. We did not ask if they had a pool, as we did not go swimming while in Wall. We visited just days before the Sturgis Bike Rally, and there were bikers everywhere--and not one of them were rude or threatening. We asked those we came across (there were many!) to tell us a little about their motorcycle, and got the equivalent of a proud Mama or Poppa talking about their kid; they were genuinely nice. In all, Super 8 Wall was clean, friendly, and close to great attractions. We will be staying here again when our family visits South Dakota in 2013!

“Good stop going through South Dakota!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 July 2011

A good place to stop on the way through South Dakota: clean, decent breakfast, quiet. We were on our way to the mountains, and this place was a good stopover. We'll probably use them again.

“Comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2011

We were dismayed to see that our room opened into the lobby and shared a wall with the breakfast counter. Surprisingly, we had no problems with noise, and we had a great wifi signal. The room was clean and comfortable with a mini fridge/freezer. Breakfast included cereal, oatmeal, bread/english muffins and hardboiled eggs.
