This is the first time I have seen the small refrigerator sitting directly on the floor. I'm sorry but the door will not open and close properly this way; and it is way too far down for middle-agers to reach safely. Also, it was unplugged when we got there. I didn't know if it was not operable or what. I finally found a place to plug it in, but was a very daunting task for someone with a bad back. I really make use of the frig and microwave at my hotels, so this is very important to me.
Next, the remote all but didn't work. It took a good 5 or 6 seconds to change each channel if you held it exactly right. This also is very important to me, and is the major reason I will not be back. It is impossible to have a comfortable stay when things don't work right.
All the rest is plenty good enough. The room was clean. We loved the fact that it was accessible from the outside, as husband is a smoker and must make frequent trips out there. It was quiet. The desk clerk was a very competent no-nonsense person. I'd hire her.
It was also great that there was a restaurant right next door, as we hate to do any more driving at the end of a long day. We had a good meal there and were stuffed, so we went for a walk around the neighborhood. That was a very pleasant and quiet experience. It felt very safe. We liked the town.
Can't speak for the breakfast, as I had leftovers from my supper. I would definitely stay here again if they would do something about the frig and tv.
