Be sure you call to check the renovation status! Nice rooms with a great location for waking distance downtown dining. No free breakfast sadly.

We got free night and dinner because they messed up things associated with the block we reserved for our wedding guests. Dinner was poor, although free so I shouldn't complain. Room smelled of faint smoke although floor was non-smoking. At 10 pm we began hearing loud music, not sure where it was coming from, but we were in the 7th floor so doubt it was from the wedding or other events downstairs. My husband and I love staying in hotels just for the fun of it. However this was not one of those fun experiences. Would not recommend for future visitors.

This hotel is in the heart of downtown and was an overnight stop over on our way south. We stayed in a double room. The room was nice and clean. The only thing missing was a coffee maker, which surprised me. I don't recall every staying a hotel that did not supply in room coffee. Beds were comfortable and come with both hard and soft pillows, which was nice. Parking was free and in a parkade. The hotel offers banquet rooms, gift shop, pool and fitness area. They also have a complimentary area shuttlee if you are interested in exploring the Sioux Falls area. We were pleasantly surprised by the Grille 100 restaurant in the hotel. The food was absolutely delicious. On the down side the front desk clerks were not the most helpful. The male who was standing around, very abruptly told us to wait for the other staff member who was already busy checking someone in. When he did get checked in we were sneezed and coughed on by the employee who basically handed us a card and said there you go. Which is fine I suppose, but not the most welcoming feeling.

In the area we stopped in to Falls park to walk around. Very nice park but it was very dirty and perhaps because it was autumn, not being cleaned as often as it could/should be.

My husband and I just spent two nights at the Holiday Inn City Center in Sioux Falls for a wedding. The property was shabby at best. The hotel is in the midst of a much needed renovation. Carpeting was stained throughout, one elevator was not functioning. The worst part was the smell of sewer gas which made it impossible to sleep. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, I was told I was the first person to mention it. No offer of a different room or credit to my bill. Would never stay here again.
