1st night of our 10 day trip from MInnesota to Oregon, a great comfortable room
My husband and I have stayed here numerous times and each time is always the same and this time was no different. It has clean rooms, plenty of linens, easy and free wifi, and a free breakfast, a swimming pool, and business center. The only improvement would be that the housekeepers clean the inside of the microwave as they are a mess inside. We have noticed this on several occasions. Breakfast is pretty standard with biscuits and gravy, hard boiled eggs, waffles, fresh oranges, apples, yogurt, toast, milk, juice & coffee. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and will be back when in town.
Stayed many places in Sioux Falls always thought this was the best. The location is great if your passing through maybe not so great if you want to be close to shopping or lots of dining choices. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is pet friendly as well. Nice pool area and really nice breakfast area with a good selection of food. Rooms were nice sized with mini fridge and microwave and coffee maker. Excellent beds and quiet rooms gave me a good night's sleep. I felt the hotel was well maintained and very clean. Also the price was very reasonable. Overall I was pleased with every aspect of my stay and will be back next time I'm in town.
Stayed just after Thanksgiving; no problem booking the room. Able to use a corporate rate via the website and the rate was consistent on checkout. Pet fee of $10. The hotel provided a "rules sheet" at check-in regarding having a pet stay with us. The rules were understandable, but we were a bit disappointed that we were not allowed to leave our dog in the room unattended. However, if someone else had a dog in the room next to us and it started howling, I would be very frustrated, so I acquiesce. The hotel also provided a couple bags to pick up after our pet, and provided a couple treats (Milkbone biscuits). This was a nice touch. There was ample space to walk our 90-lb. Golden Retriever. The room was very clean and appeared fairly new. It had all the amenities, including Wi-Fi. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
From booking the reservations, to getting directions, to the check-in, all was done by a friendly guest receptionist. It was our first time to travel with our two small dogs and we were able to get a "Pet Room" where they could stay with us. That was a mandatory thing as we were traveling through SD in December. (You aren't allowed to leave your pets in the room alone, so we ordered out for dinner.)
The room was large (King bed, non-smoking, hide-a-bed couch, leather recliner) and had all the amenities needed (desk, micro, refrig, flat screen). It was very clean - something I was concerned about with it being a "pet room." It was a very welcome surprise to very tired travelers.
Within 5 minutes of being in the room, the guest desk called to make sure everything was alright. Even though I haven't eaten the breakfast yet, I'm more than satisfied with staying here and would definitely stay again.
