We stayed at the Comfort Inn North as an overnight stop while driving
to Chicago. It is just off the interstate and next to a gas station (I walked over to see if they had vacant rooms while my husband pumped gas). Fortunately they did as it was around 10 PM, wind was gusting and rain started to fall. The room and hotel was fine. The reception staff was friendly but a bit slow (when we got there they were on break smoking out front). We needed a non-smoking room that allowed pets and one was available so it was fine for us. If we were driving through and needed a place to sleep we'd stay here again.
