I thought the location of the hotel was convient and is near Mt. Rushmore. Its literally a few steps away from Safeway and Burger King. Our room had a microwave and a coffee maker. I also liked how clean the room was although on the third day of our stay there was a strange sulfur smell that permeated the room, not pleasant. Noise from other rooms was also a problem, the walls a paper thin you can hear the t.v. in the next room. We also were placed next to some rowdy you girls who kept us up all night. I would stay there again, only if were were placed near quiet neighbors.

This hotel is in need of a major cleaning and remodel. The room linens are old and look dirty. The Fitness Center is a joke. Located in the damp musty basement in a small room with two machines. Outdoor swimming pool and no Hot Tub. First floor rooms have the smell of smoke drifting in from the lounge located at the end of the hall.

My husband I were put in a very small room. I was NOT impressed at all. If you enjoy sleeping on cement, you will like these beds. We did not get much sleep due to this. Also staying there for a week, you would think you would have a microwave and refrigerator in your room. I requested them and still hadn't recieved them two days later. I asked the staff at the desk what was happening with my request and if they would put us in a new room. She said.."Oh no maam, we will not move you, we will bring them to you. On the third day they brought us a refrigerator but we never did see a microwave. The walls were paper thin and very noisy. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone and usually I do not leave feedback, but this time...something had to be said.

This is a fairly nice hotel that is convienient to attractions, sports bar, grocery etc. BUT if you get a room on the first floor you will be sorry. The first person to check out (5:30am) wakes everyone else up. Our room was next to the lobby where breakfast is served and the desk clerk insists on propping the lobby doors open so guests with luggage or breakfast can pass easily. Well, so does the noise. The tile floor provides ample cracks for luggage wheels to bump over to the tune of anti-aircraft fire. The open doors also encourage children to run at top speed past your room. The hotel is smoke free except for the seperated "casino" lounge. The mattress was pretty sad in our room. 2 lamps did not work. To plug in a phone charger or travel iron you had to unplug the TV or lights. Parking in the rear is 4ft. from first floor windows. I can recommend staying here as long as you insist on 2nd or 3rd floor rooms. Nice outdoor pool!
