My boyfriend and I needed a place to crash while we were visiting the area. We had planned to stay only 24hs in Rapid City, which was the final stop on our trip to the Southwest and Yellowstone.
We wanted to see Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, and whatever else we could see while in town.
So we basically were looking for a clean, quite, well located place to sleep, as decently priced as possible. Well, the Days Inn met our expectations perfectly.
The reservations was done well in advance, and when we checked in we were given what we had booked. As other reviewers wrote, the Burguer King is in the same property, there is a Sonic and grosery near by.
Our room was clean and quite, and we appreciated both things. We did not use the pool neither were looking for other amenities, since our goal in town was to visit the attractions and only wanted a hotel to sleep.
The staff was friendly and efficient. It was funny that the guy who received us the first day was surprised that we were 2 men sharing a bed (he asked if my partner had a reservation too...). It was a funny episode, which we laugh at.
Breakfast was better than in similar hotels we had stayed. It was huge!
We left early the second night because of the time of our flight. So all we can say is that we had a great an quite sleep, the room was clean and confortable, breakfast was great, and we appreciated the location and easy access, and the Burguer King in the same property.
