We didn't know what to expect for such a low price, but I guess that is the norm for Rapid City, and the location was good, on the edge of town. We asked for a room far up on the hill away from the busy road. We found the room to be very basic, but everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable with lots of nice pillows, plenty of towels, a good flat screen TV, a great shower. Very quiet and we could open the window for fresh air. Breakfast was OK...nothing fancy, cereal, bagels, juice. Coffee was good. The biscuits were stone cold and eggs seemed to be artificial or reconstituted or something. But all in all, a great buy if you are just passing through.

We recently stayed at this motel as a base for touring around the Black Hills. We were able to park our vehicle right outside our room. The staff were more than friendly and helpful, especally Shannon in housekeeping department. The room was large with everything you could possibly want, including two beds, wardrobe area, TV, microwave & fridge, washing area and bathroom and tea and coffee making. The room was serviced daily. There was a free breakfast, which was very good, plus free soup and cookies at 4.30pm. This was extremely good value for the money we paid. Our room was positioned in a quiet area of the complex away from the main road. Thoroughly recommended.

This hotel was in a good location for getting to Custer State Park. I had reserved a non-smoking room but none was available when I arrived. I took the smoking room - it was infested with ants. They were considerate and gave me a nonsmoking room for the remainder of the stay - - -only thing - too many cockroaches.

The clerks were nice but the hotel needed some TLC. It is convenient to restaurants.

This was just like the rest of the City. Everybody was nice. THe kids loved it. It may be a little outdated and some may question the location (close to busy road) but the room was clean and they delivered on our expectations.
