I've stayed at a number of Super 8s and you generally get what you pay for. They aren't anything special but the price works. Super 8 Murdo is a bad exception. The biggest problem is the noise. The construction offers no sound barrier to the outside or to room noise. The location is right next to the I-90 on/off ramp and the exit is used regularly by large trucks swinging into a truck stop across the street. You get 24 hour/day trucks slowing at the off ramp or accelerating at the on ramp. This is the only Murdo hotel with a similar location. Interior noise is actually worse. I'm not sure how walls can amplify noise but it was incredibly annoying listening to conversations, running water, jacuzzi noise, etc. Cleaning wasn't great and one day they grabbed out used towels and did nothing else, not even straighten the bed or vacuum. Finally, the gentleman working at the front desk was one of the rudest hotel employees I've encountered in years.
